Export and Import |
RM 2 allows you to export its settings and samples and imports its own and various other formats. | ![]() |
Export
Clicking this button opens a file dialog to choose a
file. RM 2 writes its internal data into that file and a
copy of all used samples into the same directory. When you initially load the samples they come from somewhere on your harddrive. Maybe from different directories. When you export a drum kit all samples are written to a directory of your choice. From now on RM 2 refers to the newly writen sample files rather then those you initially picked up. |

Import
Here you can load a previously exported setting of RM 2
and the associated samples. Rupsta Here you can import settings of Rupsta alpha and Rupsta gamma. The settings must have been exported by Rupsta using the "save bank" feature of the host software and must be in standard "fxb" format. So if you have songs made with Rupsta, that you want to be continued with RM 2 simply load RM 2, save the drum kit from Rupsta, load the drum kit in RM 2 and set all MIDI channels routed to Rupsta so that they are now routed to RM 2. |
LM
Clicking here opens a file dialog that lets you choose a
LM-4 or LM-9 drum kit. All settings will be accepted with
two exceptions:
We don't know of any drum kit that makes use of these features (that's simply because it doesn't make much sense). So if you have songs made with LM-4, that you want to be continued with RM 2 simply load RM 2, load the drum kit in RM 2 and set all MIDI channels routed to LM-4 so that they are now routed to RM 2. |
